Meet Zac Mello      

Zac Mello is the founder and instructor of the Z Bar M Horsemanship Program at Double Eagle Stables. Passionate about developing confident riders and well-rounded horsemen, Zac specializes in personalized English and Western riding instruction for riders of all experience levels.
His teaching philosophy goes beyond simply learning to ride. Zac focuses on building a strong partnership between horse and rider through hands-on education in horsemanship, horse care, groundwork, and safe riding practices. From first-time riders taking their initial steps into the saddle to advanced riders refining skills such as reining, lead changes, and one-handed steering, Zac tailors every lesson to the individual goals of each student.
Through private lessons, group instruction, clinics, and trail riding experiences, Zac helps riders develop confidence, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of horses both in and out of the arena. His goal is to create knowledgeable horsemen who possess the skills, awareness, and respect necessary for a lifetime of successful riding.
